Also possible that US dealers are simply blocked from placing the order. Maybe I should try ECS
I wonder if Tischer can get it?

ecs availability is a bit misleading.. they put a ship date as middle of september which means they have to order from overseas.. .. that is not even a guarantee that they can get it.

The pictures they have were dated 2013, so they did get it once fairly recently I wonder who ordered it, seems like someone who figured out how to get the Euro harness would have posted about it here.

I ordered this 2 weeks ago from ECS and just got the shipment notification. Should hopefully get it Saturday or Monday. They're also listing the part as "in stock" now, so I guess they ordered more than 1? Whatever the case, it does seem like ECS is still able to order these.

I'll post my experiences as soon as I can.

Us dealers can order the guide rail with no problem.

For the harness, there was a part number change in September 2003. I have no idea what the difference is though, since the pinout for these pieces is the same

--------

Confirmed, the Euro harness O2/trans harness (12517835524) has the pin for the US fuel pump populated (X60002/Pin 11). That makes this harness plug and play. I don't know if I'll have time today, but the harness should be a pretty easy swap. I'll try to take pictures along the way

What I cannot confirm is whether or not the other 3 harnesses have the fuel pump relay pin populated (though worst case it really wouldn't be hard to add that wire). Again, the relevant part numbers are:

6MT:
12517831649 -- Upto September 2003
12517835524 -- September 2003 and beyond

SMG:
12517831652 -- Upto September 2003
12517836372 -- September 2003 and beyond

Can someone with a Euro M3 built before September 2003 take a picture of the highlighted connector?

Darn you, I might have to do this. Having rear 02 issues with the new updates as well as 100 cell cats.
