Default Vac rod bearings, are the coated stock or not?

I always thought they were coated stock bearings but it has come to my attention that they non lower/ upper designated.. So surely that means they cannot be coated stock.

I avoided these bearings because I thought they were stock and coated so therefore had reduced clearance. Anyone's input out of interest?

I have bought OEM and will use them

I've always used OEM. Just change them every 100k

The VAC bearings do have a coating but I am not sure if the compensated for the added thickness....

Personally, I think the WPC rod bearings are the best route.
