Default 2008 M3 with 91k, should I buy???

Hi everyone, new here. I need a new car and my beater is on its last wheel. Thinking about a 2008 M3, found with 90k miles on it. Should I get it? I don't like the high mileage, what should I expect? What maintenance thresholds or possibilities will I have with this type of mileage? Obviously it's impossible to really know how it was taken care of and driven, but would like to know from you experienced owners, what I will probably encounter?

I understand standard maintenance is much more expensive than a 'regular' car, but thinking more on the lines of major issues I need to worried about it may foresee. This would be a daily driver. I was going to get a Jeep Wrangler and do it up with lift and 35s but thinking Ive always loved and wanted an M3 and it would be about same cost (not maintenance wise) and would bring a smile while driving and opening up!

Please let me know your thoughts

.......or if I wait a little more, a 2012 C63 AMG?

They seem pretty reliable but hopefully you understand there can be significant maintenance costs on a 10 year old $65k high performance car. I would replace the rod bearings — $1k parts, be prepared for new brakes if they have not yet been replaced — $1200 parts, be prepared for throttle actuators if they have not been replaced — $1200 parts, be prepared for a new clutch and flywheel — $2k parts, and be prepared for other maintenance and repairs that come with a 10 year old car with around 100k miles. Add labor costs to the part prices. Great cars for DIYers.

Well that one sold before I pulled the trigger. Saw a few more i want to check out with less miles , between 50-60k. That will give me a little more peace of mind. I'm not used to the high maintenance cost, but I know it's expected this this type of car. But this sums up what costs I can expect. Thanks!
