Default AC Tensioner Pulley

Can just the roller be replaced or do I have to buy the complete mechanical tensioner with roller?

Officially you have to buy the whole tensioner, but the pulley from the N62 fits if you use the original mounting hardware

Thanks. Saves quite a bit of money just replacing the roller.

If you decide to purchase a tensioner, I would recommend getting INA instead of OE. They're the OEM for BMW. I paid $49.99 for mine.

So get this: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ina-part...287549557~ina/

Instead of the Genuine BMW brand? They are the same?

Are the idler and tensioner rollers from INA the same as OE also?

Hey, taking a look at the part number 11287549557, every pic of the pulley online shows pulley with a bolt going through it and a metal cap on the back. Does the cap come off? Looks like you need just the pulley and to discard the hardware.

Thanks!
