Any updates or ETA on the new features you mentioned were in the pipline a few months ago? (e.g raising idle)

Also any plans for the ability to modify the Aux Fan temp values to fine tune a electric fan setup? I see this was mentioned previously. Just wondering if this is possible as I live in 100 + degree heat and this would be a very nice feature.

My cats are starting to throw a CEL, is it okay if I use this tool to disable to the CEL but keep the original cats in place or do I have to swap to catless headers?

Which feature should I disable as there seem to be a few related to the cats and the SAP.

I am also interested in the Aux fan mod.

You could. You could even disable cold start/SAP since you wouldn't care about killing the already dead cats.

You may as well get some catless headers though and pick up 10-15hp.

Hey guys,

So I tried to enable to shift lights on my car earlier and it didn't work. Email Martyn who said it doesn't work on cars 2003 and earlier. Has any one else come across this problem? And is there another workaround for it?

I have a 2003 with a 09/2002 production date running the stock MSS54 (non-hp) and Martyn's tool worked for me for enabling the shift lights.

Hmm odd... I wonder why he told me it wouldn't work. My car is tuned but I don't think that should effect anything

It appears that only the early clusters are the ones that have issues with shift lights.

2003 cluster should be able to handle it though, since obviously 2003 SMGs exist and shift lights were always a feature with SMG. 2001 should be the only questionable flusters.

I guess it's possible BMW had parts from earlier with build dates knocking around when they built some cars though.
