Default Jixer77 06 Jet Black ZCP

Hey, Everyone, I decided to start a journal to keep track of what I have done. Never done a journal before so let's see how it turns out.

I recently bought the M back in February and it was a nightmare logistically to get it. I live in Orlando, FL and the car was in Grand Junction, CO. I was originally going to drive it down but decided to ship it since I have never driven in snow nor do I want to. Took over a week from the time they picked it up to deliver to me due to truck issues.

Oil Change Time @ 106,000 on the dot! I stumbled upon a forum in here with someone recommending going to the Audi dealership for Castrol 10w60. $10.20 a bottle, WIN!!

Update*

Had to replace the rear passenger taillight as it crapped out on me. Ordered the OEM from TMS for $203.

File Apr 04, 12 48 33 PM

I also have a clunking noise that I need to address coming from the front left. I took the wheel off and checked FCAB, and end link which seemed fine and the only thing that I noticed from the initial check was the sway bar seemed to be cracked. I will need to post pictures later and get under the car to see if that is the cause. Has anyone else seen the OEM sway bar crack?

The previous owner had the BC Coilovers slammed to the ground and I raised it a bit to where I thought was appropriate. Will Post pictures soon.

Nice car! Good job taking care of the maintenance and replacing things that are broken with quality parts. If you’re going to mod, do it right or leave it stock I’d say.

Never seen a cracked sway bar before lol.

Glad to see that maintenance is a priority. Any big long term plans?

For sure. Right now my priorities are to get it up to speed with maintenance. Eventually I want to put a roll cage in it.
