Default Bad Idea?

Been in the hunt for a m3 for sometime now... have a max spending of 15k. Just been looking for that clean car in my range and havent had much luck.

I do want SMG and a vert... for my own reasons. Open to colors exterior and interiors. Of course cinnamon is ideal... But I cam across this below. So, bad idea?

Can’t be that hard to find a vert with smg for under 15k.

Why do you ask "bad idea?" on the ebay one? Check the carfax (read: run your own on the vin, I've seen them photoshopped, I know it's like $40, but good insurance), get a ppi, etc and negotiate. Not 100% sure why there is a comment about the diff loudness...referring to (potential) lack of clunk?

I don't like the description comments about rod bearings or subframe, because BMW didn't really "fix" anything on the 06 model...no mention on vanos work or valve adjustment. Positive is smg pump recently done.

Do your research, ask the right/tough questions and you can easily find an smg vert with your budget.

That said, if he finds a really great car at a really great price that is not cinnamon, he can "settle" and then do an interior swap.
