no, 5 additional years after my original warranty ends through BMW.

zero deductible as a special and better rates etc. because my 2001 M3 has only 24,000 miles on it and i'd be buying the warranty while my car is still under warranty through BMW.

I cant believe that...no insurance company is going to put itself in a high risk area such as an extended 5 years on top of your current 4 years, thats so much exposure for the insurance co.

Your vehicle has a 5 year depreciated life, and its really hard to believe that an insurance company is going to insure that car beyond its depreciated life 2x.

Just read the policy again. Let us know, cuase if this is true, and they pay out...well then this is more than a bargain..for all of us.

I cant beleive it..I never heard of such a thing....If i were the prez...of that INS co.....I wouldnt even think of it...6 years top...100K miles...becuase.after 100K miles and 6 years..thats when the car falls apart.

from what i know they seem legit and they are listed under the BBB, which means they have to meet premium standards

the rate i got is great because of the factors involved...
1. very low miles
2. incentives given because i am still under warranty through BMW

more info...
i spoke with BMW service and a critical factor is if the 3rd party pays the bill that day
with a credit card and First National does (some don't)

the zero deductible is a "special" and prolly cause i was contacted by them and my car is again under the regular warranty

also, seeing my engine has its own BMW warranty up to 100,000 miles i assume that lowers the 3rd party warranty rate as they don't have to cover most of the engine for the warranty they are selling - that's my assumption as engine repairs can be very costly

the rate you would be quoted would prolly be different than mine because there are lots of factors to determine one's rate

i am new to this and in the "research" stage of things

finally, the BMW dealer seemed to try and get me to stay away from this company (even though they never heard of them they said) and i attribute that to the fact that my dealer has a deal worked out with another company (CNA National) that is, you guessed it, just another 3rd party company like First National. according to First National, the dealer would simply push their warranty because they would get a commission for the warranty sale. buisness!!! Ahhh!!!
