Default Windshield Sun Shade... which one?

Is there a noticeable difference between oem (part 82111470411) and the covercraft shade? Oem from Tischer looks to be 45.00 + s/h, while the covercraft from autoanything is also 45.00, but free s/h. I'm already under the assumption that either of these is a better option than one found at a local pep boys or whatever, but is there a difference between the two, or should I just go w/ the covercraft since it has free s/h?

I'm a moron...can you send me the direct link for covercraft? I could not find sun shade on autoanything's site.

I was interested in a shade and looking for non-oem if possible if it's a good fit because I don't want a giant BMW logo on mine.

Thanks! For some reason the search sun shade on website produced zero results...

Do we know if interior, including mirror in M3 are the same as regular 3 series?

Also found this on ebay...

$34 and free shipping...seem custom for our cars and guy has great feedback from other M3 owners saying fitment was great

Well, I havent found any part #s suggesting that the M3 differs from any other 3-series when it comes to a sun shade. I'm sure they're the same. Even the Tischer site has a generic "e46 3-series" shade.

As for the ebay one, that looks like it may be a little more flimsy than these two? I'd prefer a thicker one so that it'll hopefully keep its shape a little better and stay in place easier.

I would either go OEM or ebay.

Not worth saving a couple of backs over OEM in cost of shipping in my opinion.

It does look a little thinner (ebay one), but I like how it rolls up and also feedback is 100% and everyone seems really happy with the product.

Personally I like the ones that roll up when not in use and stay up largely on their own (due to their stiffness and the fit). They are thinner and lighter than OEM and look thinner and lighter than Covercraft which looks similar to OEM (I have no experience with Covercraft).
I don't remember where I bought mine (I will see if I have the info at home), but it looks like this:
http://www.calcarcover.com/sunshade.aspx

I really don't care how it looks, I like that it is lightweight, easy to unroll and set up etc.

I have an OEM one that I would sell if anyone is interested.

Default Don't own one, but always like this option of side shades

You don't have to buy the side pieces, but I would if I got one. But I use a whole car cover in the high UV months for the few times I drive the car regularly to work, so haven't had the need.
