Question Oil Change Question

Hi everyone I'm picking up my car this weekend, so F&^&in excited haven't been able to sleep in 2 days lol. Ok here is my question I will be getting a oil change done as soon as I get the car IDC what the dealer says. But one question I have is do you guys change it every 15K miles or if I really want the car to last should I do it every 5-6K miles my friend does that to his 335i and says it should be done to every BMW. Is this true? Thank you everyone will post car pics as soon as I get it.

Thank you guys. Do you think that's a good idea to change the oil the dealer said it was done 3k miles ago. But who can trust them? Thank you for the warm welcome guys.

They will have a service record of when the oil was changed so you can know for a fact. And since supposedly you'll have a warranty for another year, you'll have to trust them at least a little bit.

For all your future questions, use the SEARCH button first. I guarantee most of your questions have already been answered. Congrats on the purchase, if you end up getting it...

Don't you have another thread indicating that you're still deciding between 3 cars? How can you be so sure that you're actually picking up a car in a couple days? The last thing you want to do is rush a car purchase...
