I hadn't been on the forum for several weeks. I tried to log in and thought I was banned for some reason. Found out the forum was down. Anyway, loads of car prep time (Zaino), 2 judged car show: 2 awards.

Sorry, not trying to make light of your situation by any means, just hope you make it through without taking too much damage of any kind.

You already have a pretty good support group here, someone should start an M3 bachelor-for-life group to stage interventions when memebers think about taking the plunge.

I'll go ahead and open myself up to the inevitable and showcase my attempt at creativeness.

Like so many others before me, I wanted to personalize the side grills, but I find it really hard to add anything to the exterior of the car that makes it stand out, while being subtle enough to not mess up the look of the car. So...

You can't see it standing up near the car (it's not lighted):

Squatting down next to the car, you can kind of see the stripes (nope, not lighted):

And a close up (did I mention they aren't lighted?)

It really is something that's only going to be seen by people in low cars and little kids, so I'm inclined to leave it for the time being. So...yay or nay? When forming your opinion, please remember they are not lighted.
