Default Re: Where do YOU park your car?

If there's a curb I'll park close to that, or try to leave one spot in between me and another car. My GF even leaves a spot between her car an another when she parks her mini cooper now - I've taught her well

Parking outside is too silly and for peasants. I just bring my car inside wherever I go; much less likely to get door dings and other shenanigans.

Anywhere If possible between any 4 door cars. 2 doors are wider, open up farther and more potential for dings.

Default Re: Where do YOU park your car?

I park clear of other cars far from the entrance. Hopefully by another BMW or nice car that will look before swinging the door open

The exception is when I'm on a date. Unfortunately I may park closer to the entrance because they complain about walking in heels

I always look for a spot on the far right of a section so I only have to worry bout my driver side. Then park as close to the edge/wall as I can to maximize the space between my car and their passenger door.

Edit: I should add that when I park in a parking spot I park far enough away from the "horde" of people but I don't park at the waaaaaayy back either where in my experience that is when a minivan or suv full of kids and inconsiderate parents choose to park right next to me to the point of where I have to check my car for a door ding.
All of the above for me also

I wish that worked better for me, but they whine about being left alone

This is why the E92 doesn't go out for dates

I like the way u think ,unfortunately for me i learned this the way where i decided "Okay, lets just for once park where the other people parks, never hurts to give it a try right?".

Next thing u know i come out of target store and bam!Big Ol' ding saying hello to me,im like "no freaking way did this just happened,i completely jinx myself.

From now on i take pics/write down plate #'s next to whomever i park next to regardless, call me crazy but im never taking a chance ever again
