Have you tried other buckets? If so how do they compare? Currently on Sparco Evo’s, but have been eyeing the pole positions.

Choosing a seat is all dependent on your body type and how you plan to use the car. Like helmets, you need to try them on for size.

The RECARO Pole Positions, when wrapped in leather and or suede like mine, blend in with the OEM interior the best in my opinion. They were the baseline for the CSL seats after all. The cheapest cloth versions are not as nice, and have the big white RECARO logo on the headrests which are a bit more "in your face".

For slimmer drivers, the Pole Positions do a great job of holding you in place and accentuating the driving experience without the super high leg bolsters found on serious track / race seats. This means they are relatively easy to get in and out of. Simply put, these seats are great for double duty use and transform the interior of the car IMO. BMW really dropped the ball on the E46 and E9X M3 seats.

It is important to note, the harness holes sit pretty low on the Pole Positions. At 5'11" (short legs and long torso) my shoulders sit just above the harness holes, so these seats are not appropriate with harnesses and HANS. If you are shorter, or have a shorter torso then the seats would likely work fine with harnesses.

For a more serious track car, I would go with RaceTech 4009, Cobra Suzuka Pro, or RECARO SPG or HANS. My plan was to get the RaceTech 4009's, harnesses, HANS and rear cage.

Back to getting this car sold

How tough is back seat access? I would have to keep car seats in the back door occasional use with my two toddlers. Inability to folks seats make it impossible?

I have two kids under 3. No way to get kids in and out of car seats with fixed back seats unless you find a way to retrofit CSL seat brackets. Thats what my X5 is for

Such a clean example. Too bad I'm not in the market for another one, honestly surprised it hasn't sold already. GLWS

Thank you guys. All PM's have been responded. Communicating with interested parties but the car is still currently available.
