Those are the hood vents that I also produce: http://m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=556687

Thanks! The AP kit is custom. I designed and machined my own bracket to work with the AP 9660 caliper. It's pieced together using all AP parts aside from the bracket. Been contemplating putting a kit together but would really need to generate more interest before I could offer it.

How about GTR 3 slot vent gills for the bottom portion of the fender?
I'm not a huge fan of the GTR bottom portion of the fender, but something like the Viper's 3 gills may look good.

I've been brainstorming on a solution for this as well. Will have something in the next couple of weeks.

Did some track testing this past weekend at Autobahn Country Club North track with these fender vents. I put some older, lower grip tires on to get an apples to apples comparison to previous baseline settings with a 100TW r-comp on that track configuration. The front downforce was definitely higher than before. The addition of the vents necessitated a 2 degree angle of attack increase in the rear wing to restore aero balance.

For those familiar with the track, this meant higher cornering speeds and lateral Gs in turns 3, 4, and 5 (basically 3 linked S turns, both on and off camber). I put down a lap that was .9s faster than before. Some of that could be attributed to a low fuel level, but .9s is significant around a 1:09 lap, especially with the state of the tires (8 days on Maxxis RC-1s).

Installed photos to follow. Car is filthy and not photo worthy at the moment.

Will have some drag/top speed data and maybe even wheel well tire pressure data to share in about a month's time when I head to Road America.

Any updates on your other solution? I'm curious to see what it looks like.

I've always been a fan of the J's Racing S2000 fenders.
