Am I the only one that reads bimmerfan's DIY's for enjoyment?

I am in the middle of his valve adjustment DIY while I wait for my shim removal tool to arrive.

I always end up knowing a ton of more info about the car on the other end of completing a DIY. So much information gets lost or mixed up on this forum. I just try to sort through and find the good bits to make DIY processes simple and straightforward for readers and future DIYers.

Very nice and thorough DIY!

For the trans fluid draining part I would add that one should always remove the fill plug first and then the drain plug.
