I have a 2005 convertible Estoril blue on black interior e46 m3. Individual. Imported from Canada into the US. Has approx. 70k miles(Have to double check though). When it was imported, about 3 years ago. It was 1 of 24 in the US. Clean title. Located in Oregon. Let me know if you're interested. PM.

Thanks for the link to the Monaco car! I am looking for something a little edgier. Monaco looks good but almost too safe.

The hunt continues!

Run the VIN if you must. The car is 100% individual.

I’m not in the market just a simple observation. Not trying to argue, just curious as to why there is not an “Individual” door sill.

I believe it's because you could pay to order a paint color (if you got a non-lazy dealer willing to find out how), but that doesn't necessarily mean you used the full on BMW Individual program. Sort of like how you could order all the elements of the premium package independently, but not have the car spec-ed as premium package.

From what I understand BMW had two separate programs for individual paint cars...

The first for the ROW or rest of world that BMW offered the individual paint and interior options to receive the "BMW Individual" door sill treatment

A US only subset of the program where you could option the individual paint and things like a sun shade but not the full range of options like full leather interiors or wood grain selections, those cars received a regular "M3" door sill
