I would suggest choosing a theme for your car, be it dark or light. If you go light, keep the chrome kidneys and gills, get silver wheels, don't tint the windows. If you go dark, get darker kidneys and gills, tint the windows, get a darker wheel color (black still doesn't work, imho).

Mixing and matching on imola makes an incohesive result that looks crappy to my eye.
You're right, it is a bit tricky to customize Imola Red, very easy to make it look bad/ghetto.
I stopped customizing and here are what's on right now:
Stock chrome kidneys (to flow well with headlight pieces and etc.)
Black side gills
Black tinted windows

I think either gold or silver wheels will work well IMO.

When I finally pull the trigger on new wheels, they'll be gold with silver lip. I really like the LMs, but I'm like OP and can't justify spending that much $$ on wheels.

In the meantime, I am thinking about getting the stock style 67s painted gold spokes and lip polished. See how it looks...

Thematically speaking, that problem is not exclusive to JUST Imola owners

True! I just think imola suffers especially much from not doing so.

Default Imola - wheel suggestions?

Did someone say gold? Also these wheels will be FS once my EC-7s get here... I call it the “Iron Man” look.

Previous, basic ***** setup (can never go wrong with ARC-8s):

My dream is mag blue TE’s one day (from another member on here):

I’m in the same boat as to what color I should have my EC-7s painted as I got them from the Apex blem sale and they are all mismatched colors. Either going to do Race/Hyper Silver or gloss black to match my kidneys/sides.

Could be interested in these actually... I like red+gold. How much/where? I considered IR + bronze before I took a liking to IR + race silver.

I agree, but also conflicted. I have black kidneys and gills from previous owner, but I prefer chrome kidneys. Also plan to stick to a chrome badge when I put my CSL trunk on (hopefully tomorrow hehe). At the same time, idk how I feel about chrome gills but I don't like the idea of having only one part of my car black lol.

It's going to be temporarily ghetto until I get everything
