Better yet, I'll just put it in the 318ti and call it a day.

As much as I love e30s, I don't think I would want one as a project.

Nothing much to update since the car has been running flawlessly and I'm still on the hunt for the perfect wagon for my swap. I did grab this CF rear lip spoiler from a forum member and decided to install it this past weekend. I'm not a perfectionist (clearly) so I spent a whopping 7 minutes installing this and I think it came out pretty good.

August 13, 2018:

Welp, I have a new project now.

Back in post #118 I mentioned the Nissan Pulsar that we picked up and got running. After an unfortunate mistake, the driver's side got attacked by a rogue e90 and crunched in the door and b-pillar. I'm on the hunt for a new door to salvage from a part out to at least regain door functionality, then eventually I'll cut out the body of a donor pulsar and weld it in place of my damaged quarter panel. Eventually, I'm going to do a low and slow build with it but for now it's going to be worked on until it's reliable enough to daily.

Now at this point you might be thinking, "Jared, what the hell does this have to do with M3s? Take your ugly JDM junker to the Pulsar forum." Well this means that I don't need to put off breaking down the M3 and rebuilding the S54 any longer. Once the Pulsar is dailyable, I'll start taking apart the M3 and I also have more time to find the ideal wagon for the swap (mmmmm, a 2002 325iT in stahlgrau metallic and tanin red interior ).

I took the M3 to the lake this weekend and took some photos as well as this flyby clip. All in all, I cannot stress enough how impressed I am with how reliable this car has been.

Hooray! Nadia is still kicking and survived her second lake trip. We're getting closer and closer to a teardown as the Pulsar parts keep rolling in.

I saw your name and just knew that was going to be your solution

It would make a pretty neat RWD conversion though...
