Definitely working on a lower ring as well. Maybe paddles will be next. I should hopefully have another update in about a week or so.

Love it!

It might be interesting if you used the same radius that you used on the bulbous top part of the knob, and used that radius (but inverted) to create a scalloped sort of chamfer around the lower ring. (hopefully that makes sense).

Another quick update. I received the anodized samples back. It is a clear hard anodization. It does change the color a bit, but tool marks are still visible. It will really help prevent scratching and scuffing. The last image is a prototype of the gator ring, so it is a bit rough looking.
