Default **YCW 3rd GEN CF D/S NEW IMPROVED VERSION COMING TO MARKET**

Hello everybody, sooo, after months of waiting/talking...felt like it was time to introduce another CF D/S option for folks! I wanted to wait until the other GB was more or less over because I didn't want anyone to question the timing of this announcement. I know what some of you might be thinking, "oh no, not again, another CF D/S thread from stash1 w/no actual GB"-lol. Well, this will be different, things have changed in the market place...and at YCW. Michael has assured me that this GB will def happen! YCW has secured some new (more reliable) partners to assist in the manufacture of this updated CF D/S. Unfortunately I'm not able to mention who they are at this time (maybe Michael will be able to elaborate more later), but they also build CF D/S's for Ford and GM products.

This new CF D/S will use a proprietary method of interlocking the CF tube to the flanges, unlike the currently available ones that rely on adhesive ONLY! Now, that's not to say that the currently available ones will all separate at some point in the future...but there have been a few cases of failures. This new bonding process should also make owners of higher HP M3's especially (think FI) feel more secure w/running a CF D/S. The flanges will be the same proven ones previously co-developed by myself and YCW that guarantee ZERO additional NVH...and actually seem to reduce it.

The D/S is currently undergoing some testing in an E9X M3, and soon after that, they will produce one for me to test again as well-can't wait! Assuming the D/S passes this testing phase, the official GB announcement will begin! I do not have pricing yet at this time, but expect it to be very competitive w/the other GB pricing (maybe even less and it will have a 1yr manufacturers warranty). Ok, enough talk for now and onto a couple of pics:

Possibly, but for the purpose of this thread, I think we will try to concentrate on the E46/E9X specific D/S's. Maybe Michael can address those folks interested in custom lengths individually in a PM...paging Michael.

Our pre-order has already started (on another forum, which is shown in one of the images above), but as I'm not a sponsor here, I will have to leave it up to stash1 to update you with any pertinent details

I will do my best to answer any technical questions though.

Once we have our main fitments complete, we can see about making custom fitments (we already have a few planned, such as the 335i to M3 conversions)

I'll see if I can't get you some special pre-introductory pricing.

Interested as well for e30/s54 fitment. It would also require a u-joint instead of a CV at the diff end.
