Where are people putting the M3 badge on these bootlids?
This thread is for the CSL trunklid and the above pics represent that. Wouldn't be any different genuine CSL trunklid or not. I'd love to see pics of the E9X badge when you put it on

Does anyone know the correct spacing between the 'M' and the '3'?

I took a spacing photo and added it to the original group on page 1.

They come pre-spaced. You stick it on the trunk and peel off the back layer that keeps them spaced properly.

1. You don't know that.
2. What difference would it make?
3. Seriously consider deleting your post.

I'm re-applying my existing one with new body tape and a new M stripe decal from Neverdone garage to replace my faded stripes.

I'm a little confused on LMTFI's measurements, they are not even close to being the same as the TIS measurements. The TIS calls for 41mm from the right edge of the trunk and LMTFI's is about 19mm. My car came with a LCI trunk lid and I know the badge was mislocated. I'm tired of looking like a noob and want it OE. Please advise (and I realize OE would be NOT having an LCI trunk lid. It will be replaced by CSL lid eventually)
