@Olza, yes i am looking for a XDF that has vanos parameters outlined and also timing so i can play around with the tune
Bert ///M3 already said you vanos offsets in calibration data.

Also, look at old emails between us. I sent you needed XDF with vanos info.

Hi Olaz, thanks for replying.
Previous XDF was password locked and i could never use it

I dont know if Bert///M3 mentioned the hex locations of the calibration data , i will go back and look again

So I have been working with the limited data i have, and revised all PT fuel maps.

interesting result, after the flash and clearing of adaptations, the LTFT changed from ~ -22% to -1.3% ( and on bank 1-3 + 0.8%) so i was very pleased.

the results remained like this for about 2 weeks, but have now slowly moved back to -12% (with no change to the tune)

could this be pointing to fault o2 Sensors ?

So the saga (mystery) continues. I have now pulled about 20% fuel out of the Part throttle map. The current map is is overall about 1.7 (afr ratio) higher than original. however, i am still seeing LTFT adaptations of;
Bank 1 -17%
Bank 2 -12%

could this be the o2 sensors or something else ? TPS?

instead of remapping the old ecu on my m3 evo i bought this https://www.pnpecu.com/vems-s50b32-pnp-kit-7-p.asp

it uses a map sensor to detect load and more modern air temp sensor that reacts faster to changes in temp than the original. also controls double vanos.

also has a much larger resolution map than the stock ecu and comes with a basemap for a standard engine.

it uses the stock ecu socket so no messing with wiring you just fit the ecu, tee in the map sensor to the fuel pressure regulator vacuum line then calibrate the new wideband 02 sensor and tps and you can start and drive the car.

final tuning will be done on a dyno.

time has moved on and alpha n is too dated i should get much better drive-ability with the vems.

Keen to hear your feedback once it's in.
