Very true thankfully! Almost immediately there were cheap dongles available to get rid of it if you didn't or couldn't go for a tune.

The Mercedes dots are a great idea. It might be worth retrofitting a few of those (like one says, for 3rd and 4th gears only).

You guys are right on the driving events.

Good to hear from you folks I haven't had a sip of black coffee since February. This is unthinkable for me. Where will it go? I do not know.

Ha! Haven't thought about CAGS in eons but recall it well from my C5 days. A $0.05 resistor fixed it back in the day or someone sold an adapter for $29.99, lol. This was before mainstream DIY coding.
