Default E46 m3 brakes

Hey guys. It's time for some new brakes on my 01 m3.

Question is . Can I order 04 m3 cross drilled rotors for my 01, will they bolt on ?
I really like the cross drilled look and my 04 m3 has them. Thanks in advance !!!

Hello! I just replaced my rotors and pads with OEM Textar rotors and my shop "insisted" on Akebono ceramic pads. I would have gone OEM but thought I would give them a go. Gonna go out and bed them in tonight (which is arguably not necessary or recommended per Ake depending on how you read it).

'04 and '01 rotors are the same size so they will fit - just not the ZCP rotors - those are larger (front) and require the comp calipers or figment kit. If you like the looks go for it. Remember that it is smaller surface area but that won't matter on the street like my stupid Ake pads.

Ceramic pads suck at braking.

You should find a better shop - or stop relying on people who give bad advice.
