Default Backfire on deceleration in gear

I've got a 95 M3 with a Turner Motor sport Tune that came with the car. No idea what the tune is as it came with the car and the car came with an AFE intake as well, all new coils and sensors and no vacuum leaks etc. but if I let off the gas I can hear a rumble and popping a lot of the times. However if I downshift and Rev match I backfire, if I downshift without Rev matching(only did it a couple times at the bottom of gear) it ranges from a loud backfire to the popping/gurgle. Just wondering if its the tune or my engine was upgraded? Raised compression or loppier cams?
Any inputs appreciated thanks guys

Mine gurgles a lot but no loud pops, I would pull the ecu to see what the tune has (it should say on it).

What exhaust does it have?

I pulled it to check and it was a Turner but it didn't say anything besides the brand
the guy said it was a super sprint replica it's not loud until 3-4k rpm and it's nothing like my friends magnaflow

my car does alot of pops and sometimes one really loud pop on deceleration. It did it when it had the stock tune and it did it after getting the TRM tune (it does not have an intentional burble tuned in).

Probably nothing to worry about unless you see some other negative effects.

Also, it's very pronounced (audible) because I have Corsa exhaust.

Yeah I was just wondering to see if other people get the same sound or if something was off cause I had a really hard time trying to pass smog before

Turner does not have the stupud "burble tune"

Your having un burned fuel enter the exhaust. either have tired plugs, or a leaky injector.

My E36 M3 would let out a loud POP with a downshift but I had an aggressive custom tune
