Looking at dropping the cross brace down about 1/2 inch and keeping the arm mounts in the same place....I customizing most likely.

I asked about one particular one, and they said mss65... But that doesn't mean all of them are (if there's multiple).

I highly doubt they would add the extra physical spark and fuel injection drivers rather than just re-code an MSS65...

If one is 99% sure of MSS54 and 99% sure of MSS65, you guys need to revaluate your percentages! Not leaving enough room for what you don't know

Are you trying to keep the stock hood for exterior appearance/looks? Just curious as why you wouldn't use an E92 hood (as it has a larger "hump")? That would give you additional clearance for the intake manifold up top and likely not require as much modification/clearance of the front subframe.

Would only have to be the spark drivers that are added; the injection drivers are already present. Maybe vanos drivers too if you want to be able to control and diagnose the two banks separately (and honestly, I'm not even sure the vanos signalling schemes are compatible between the two generations)

All that said, I have doubts that they're actually using an MSS5x variant of any sort.
