Thanks! Never planned on having two of them, but I'm happy to have them

I posted a couple better pictures of the 328i in the OP if anyone is interested in that car.

Amazed there was a low mile TV sedan in MT. Congrats on that find.

Looks like a very clean starting point. Will be watching your progress.

Hey thank you! It was really random finding this car in Great Falls, the original owners brought it up from California in 2009 and basically just parked it.

I bet M3's are really a rare siting in Whitefish!

Thank you! The tires are newer on the chrome DSII's so I plasti dipped them silver to get by (I was embarrassed even driving around on the chrome ones)until I get to the point where it makes sense to buy wheels and tires, money is better spent elsewhere right now...I know, I know.

I hope you are right about them being worth some money to somebody

I have a regular set of DSII's sitting in my garage though, when I get to that point I'll try to pick up another set to go 8.5 squared, or just sell everything and get something else. I like LTW5's alot...dunno

Hi guys, minor updates today Work is really busy this time of year so I'm moving kind of slow.

I replaced the two 2.5 driver's in the doors, sounds much better. Also both tweeter mounts were cracked so I sourced a couple of those and replaced them as well.

Looks pretty hammered.

Radiator is all ready to be dropped in.

And got my new nosepanel painted and ready to put on.

I'm going to knock a couple more projects out before dropping the car back down. I'm waiting on power steering lines and new transmission mounts.

And since all of my pictures are horrible here is a nice one Monkifoto took of my other car this past weekend (sorry, non-M content )

That's all for now!

Very nice car. So clean example do still exist!

Chrome wheels have to go though. Never understood why Americans love chrome wheels so much. Leav that to the Denelli's and stuff.

I have to comment on one thing though. "...Techno on Schwarts..." I love it when Americans try to write some German, but then totally got it wrong. No offense or anything, just a little humor.

I have no clue where this originated from, but I see this writen a lot like that and with that I mean with a "T" included.

The German for black is "Schwarz".
