Ooooo, a little higher ($) than I was hoping. But this is a nice solution for someone who wants height adjustability and good damping - like going with the ubiquitous Koni/H&R or Eibach setup but with height adjustability. Better, imo, than the $1-1.5k ebay coilover options out there now like BC racing or ST and that ilk.

Yep, plus a shortenend mono tube strut. Looks pretty solid, actually.

seems pretty pricey when compared to Ground Control's Complete kit

for only $100 more you get camber plates and damping adjustability

Ya I think the price point is wrong here, should be more like it's H&R counterpart, the base H&R coilovers with only height adjustability - I think those are $1,2xx or so.

Would stiffer springs decrease the roll? These sound promising for what I'm looking for, just curious if I'll they'll get to the point where I need to upgrade to something like Ohlins or MCS singles in the future.

Treflip, would you say these allow a lot of room for improvement coming from someone who's getting close to maxing out performance on stock suspension atm?

Would you think 500 F, 550 R springs would help considerably with track manners? These look very promising. I love the fact that they're monotube and don't ride harsh on the street.

ETA on a release btw?

For the price some are selling their used kit for, I'd go MCS or JRZ right away, and skip the bs. I regret all the suspension changes, and wish I had just done a quality damper right away

You make a solid point and I had GC's Track coilover on my M3 a while. They make awesome kits!

Between the two it comes down to what you're looking for. The GC kit is obviously more track focused. Where the Eibach PSS kit is more diverse for street and track. The materials used to create a monotube coilover also cost a bit more over a Koni insert and that's where the price comes in.

For the money there are a lot of things we could buy. My Civic hatchback cost less than my M3 and was faster around the track by almost two seconds. But it was more track focused and I hardly ever drove it on the street. The M3 however is still fast on the track but is more diverse for street as well. Different strokes for different folks.

Also keep in mind that even though the Eibach MSRP is $1695 - most shops and distributors would sell them below the MSRP. Maybe Jurrian from ModBargains can chime in on what their M3F member price would be.

H&R's Street Performance Coilover for the M3 is $1700 MSRP...$5 more than the Eibach. Don't get MSRP mixed up with actual "street" price.

Great review, thanks Tony. This seems like it will fall in nicely for someone who does not want to go pay an extra $1k for the Ohlins R/T.
