Yeah it's weighted. I think it supposedly weighs a little less than the ZHP knob, but I haven't noticed a difference.

I am doing an interior refresh for this spring.. trying to create some excitement in a 12 year old car..

leaning toward going back to leather ebrake handle and this knob with the m stripe leather shift and ebrake boot.

very nice! You have stock shifter ? any change in effort for changing gears ?

I may first go with E60 shifter and see how it feels with the stock knob. If it is right height I will leave it that way, but man this knob is tempting. I may eventually do this too lol.

I do have the stock shifter, yes. It's significantly shorter with this knob. I don't feel the need to go any shorter but really, I have very little I can comment on in terms of a lasting impression there.

I have only driven my car for maybe 4 miles total? It was a 54 degree day and I took it for a touch less car wash and back. The following day it was snowing again so it went right back to storage.

I'll update this thread with more opinions there, however it's easy to notice how much shorter this makes it.

Waiting on my tripod mount to come in so I can take pics in complete darkness without it being blurry.
