Should have my results in the next few days. Thanks all for posting so far.

Its not so much that I want to be noticed, but more that I want to stand apart from the crowd. And to me, Phoenix Yellow and Laguna Seca Blue are two of the best ways to differentiate your M3 experience from the norm.

Got my kit, but won't be changing oil again until the summer. It'll be my third oil change with the car, and finally a clean/known sample to provide. I had it changed right upon arrival, and then added Techron for the second change. (Car is on 5K OCIs per Dinan)
Good thread/consolidation for discussions and comparisons!

Edit: Car is 2002 with 120k miles. Oil changes every 7.5k miles since ownership at 70,000 miles. No performance mods just standard maintenance and driving the car the way it should be driven. 1 track day. Have always used Castrol 10W-60. Always used premium (91+) fuel.

Boom it's in. I'll get a scanned copy uploaded soon.

Apart from anything else, it would give a tremendous 'feelgood' boost to the end of the season, be the greatest comeback story since Lazarus, and give us a chance to enjoy Robert's laconic humour again. Remember that monster shunt of his in Canada? The next day, as he walked out of hospital, a journalist asked him if he'd seen the crash on TV. Robert Kubica stopped, looked the journo right in the eye and said: "I've seen it twice: the first time I was there!"

So how does this work. U order some kit. Fill it with oil. Send it back and they analyze it for u.
What's this whole business cost. Seems like interesting stuff.

You go on their site and order an oil analysis kit (free), they send it to you and when you send the sample in they analyze it they charge you $25

You used to be able to buy a multiple kit and save money per analysis too.
There are other services, if you want TBN or other detail info, believe it costs more, so compare apples to apples.

so is this information more for telling the quality of oil? or just using the oil as a substance to gather other information about the internals alone?
