Does anyone know if the OEM bars work with Thule or Yakima racks?

Salty, Please tell me if you have any more information on this rack. I have the same bars. I have only seen 3 sets. Mine, Yours, and one being sold internationally now. These should be OEM, they have OEM fit (do not touch the paint and use the factory mounting locations), use the OEM Rubber strips, and the Factory accessories fit in the tracks as the should.

Real OEM only has the "newer" version with the base that extend past the bases (and look worse IMO)

BTW I sold my high roller 2 weeks ago because I refuse to pay the ridiculous amount for the Yakima "Universal Fit kit" and just now I see your perfect solution for DIY mounting. I feel like an idiot for spending all the time trying to make an adapter myself when yours looks so easy to make. Oh well, the 2 OEM BMW upright Bike carriers are on their way

Add me to the list, I have an OEM rack for the sedan too... purchased on ebay a couple years ago, but don't have any pics.

Just saw one more post doing another search with a tattered one that sold on bimmer forums. Still. Not a common piece. Injustice talked to the local dealership again and they are stumped . I emailed the parts department some photos to see if he can dig anything up

Holy
Hell...I still can't find a bimmer dealer/tuning site that sells these for the roof or rear mount anymore.
Realoem shows all for e36 discontinued after 20xx.
