If you plan to do it on the car like me here's some tips I recommend.

- Be patient
- Cover everything you don't want polish on
- Remove as much as you can out of the way so you have room to work with
- Change pads often
- Avoid the spinning metal shaft from the tool to touch the vanos, it will cause scratches

I have attached a screen shot below of basically all you need to know to get it done.

Edit: I have the specific tool, accessories, and polish in my journal.

Awesome, thanks! This is now at the top of my "DIY To-Do List."

Actually, the more I think about it, I think the flanges outward is the right way for 2 reasons:

The round arm has a very smooth flat face on the outside that the sdw flange nestles into perfectly and the taper on the inside makes replacement of the balljoint easier (it looks to me) as you can get your allen key in and the screws out easily and not have them pinched since the bore is tapered outwards.
You know what, your right my bad. I got his first sets without any instructions and I goofed and put the flange on the inner side so it was easier to get to installer tool. Flange does go on the outside. Its been a while. Sux getting old!
Great product though and Davids a sharp guy. Great for diff rebuilds too if you ever need it.

Ok cool, glad I have them in right. I'm loving them! I am thinking about a diff rebuild in the future, so thanks for the info!

It's just the updated part. That's how they are now. Buy a new set of genuine caps and that's what you'll get.

Yesterday I replaced all tensioner and idler pulleys, both belts, water pump thermostat and both rad hoses. Took my time, while hanging out with my dad. Easy job.

Got rid of an annoying random squeal and my temps are in check!

Followed the DIY on here, with slight modifications.

Yes oem. Just the newer version as mentioned above. I got them from ECS a month or so ago when they were on sale. 4 for under $50
