Default Brake light issue PLEASE HELP

Whenever I apply the brakes, the tail lights go out and the LED strip in the center illuminates. When the pedal is released, the tail lights illuminate and the LED strip goes out.

I'm looking for someone to help with the coding remotely, any other ideas as to what could be causing this?

OP, unless you coded something that wasn't mentioned in your initial post this is a possibility.

E46 is weird with its electric system.. even BM53 can get affected from speedometer.. just guessing can be a outdated brake sensor, faulty connected rear lights or most of the leds are dying in those rearlights especially turning signals.. if none of them will help i have another idea i ll tell..
