Default Rare & Unique Parts - Let's share pics etc...

I know we've had these posts in the past (whether here or on other forums) but invariably, things get lost in the shuffle and sadly forgotten.

In an effort to rekindle some enthusiasm for one of BMW's most historically significant cars, let's share once again.

In fact, let's not limit this thread to just parts. Feel free to share a cool story, history of the E36, motorsport history, or even what got you interested in this model to begin with.

Hopefully I have a few items to contribute to this thread.

This is my solution to the NLA padded insert for cupholder deleted consoles. Still a work in progress.

New genuine LTW Carbon Console

Genuine 318is/4 Tray Struts

Mounted to OEM GT Tray setup

Motorsport Belts - Fronts are real, rears are fakes.

New genuine Gurney Flaps

New genuine Risers

Real LTW Wing off Lightweight EH07222. Someone repainted it TiAg.

You can see here where someone wrote (PTG I presume) 7222 on the original AW paint. I found it under the mounting tape.

GT2 Wing (might be a Clubsport, not sure yet... someone glued it to the trunk). Included the sweet pink towel for packaging too.

New L/R Aluminum GT Doors

Sorta I guess. Big multi-stage project going on so I sure will when all is said and done.

I will however post part of phase 1.

Very nice items. Especially like the alcantara insert.

Rare or unique or special? I don't mind any.

Nothing particularly rare, but the sum of all parts makes it quite a unique interior.

Also makes for a fun interior in the dark

That's both rare and unique. Pretty impressive stuff.
