The Guys at Treehouse ran the racecar (built M52 2.8) on the dyno with a OBDII mid-pipe and an OBDII that had gutted cats. They said there was no statistical difference between either pull.

Going form OBDI to OBD II or OBDI to catless would probably be a different story, but it seems the OBDII midpipes flow pretty well.

back to your normally scheduled program......

JUST SAW THESE onEBAY: Update? Did it give you any extra on the buttdyno? How do they look after a little wear and tear?

EDIT: So these would still work if you kept your cats right?

the update is that there is no update.........

J/K lol

im waiting for joe to get out of school and settle back home, then me joe and bobby will go and have a dyno shoot-out! thats when i will re-dyno my car. as far as the butt dyno goes, i dunno its too hard to tell. but i think it breathes better near redline. a smoother transition to get to max RPM before shifting for the next. as far as looks go, they bronzed out a little but nothing crazy........ now, i have always believed that it would be best to get rid of your cats if you are doing headers. others will not agree with me, but watever i dont care. will they work?, yea they will work. fitment modifications are made before the cats.

OHH, and FYI. I have found that i cannot find these versions of the Raceland headers any longer on ebay. i have looked because im intersted in another pair for the e30 s52 swapp that im in the middle of doing.
