Default P3 Gauges, anyone running them?

Hey guys,

Anyone here running a P3 gauge? looking for a vent gauge, can't be the price on this. I'm really wanting to run it so I can monitor coolant temps on the fly (Without having to bluetooth obd anything to my phone)

Did some reading, and it looks like some people had issues with it because it won't work on Euro Tunes (which most aftermarket tunes are based off of).

I don't plan to run a euro tune until I get an airbox, so this is should be suitable for the next few years.

Curious to some first hand experiences. (and yes, awron is out of the question)

I'll take that as a no. I guess I'll try it out.

Why not just display OBD level 7 data?

"Temperature and Speed

021+ Coolant/Engine temperature (2.1C)

Going through the obc functions while driving might be a little dangerous, don't ya think?

(If that's what you mean)

I'm open to other options

I think everyone who uses that display sets it before starting off on a jaunt that may suggest higher temperatures. Are you having temperature issues that require regular monitoring?

Somewhat. I don't want to turn this into a whole gauge/cooling thread but essentially I know the water temp gauge has some buffering to it, and I'm curious to how much it's reading at an exact amount on the fly when the gauge does creep.

Not to mention the obd2 readouts, battery voltage and random cool bits that come along with the gauge. I mean, I really can just use my phone and obd2 bluetooth reader (i rather use obd2 than pull up OBC functions), but its not as fun as having a vent gauge.
