I thought perforated leather must go along with seat ventilation feature?? In other words, I'm saying there's no point of having that fan under your seat if you don't have holes on the surface of your seat. Air can't go through your napa... maybe cloth seats could work with it.

Yes, it just seems all intresting that BMW had any type of ventilated seats and not until recently it has been mentioned.

One of the items listed is "LEATHER SEAT COVER, MONTANA ONLY WITH" whatever that means. I am going to call my dealer tomorrow and see if they can tell me what this is.

Okay, so I checked with the dealer and it does fit the E46 M3 and it does work with leather - although only black leather from what the parts person told me.

There are apparently 2 versions for black leather:

Part Number 82300142194 for those with black leather sport seats
Part number 82300142188 for those without sport seats

Cost for the kits is US$1,316.75

Does anyone on the board have this? It's a pretty spendy kit, but if it works well, I would think about it.
