Default How many hours of labor for smg pump replacement?

My dealer tells me 10HRS!!

Ya they usually charge over $1k for labor. That does not mean it actually takes that long.

Id have to look it up at work tomorrow but it I dont see how it can be 10 hours, you remove the intake manifold and the pumps right there, other then having to go thru a bleeding procedure on the GT1/ISID for the pump and the lines theres nothing more to it then that.

I called around for a bunch of quotes when i needed the work done and a got 9 hours from one indy shop, 10 hrs from another, and then 4 hrs from the local stealership (although their labor rate was ~twice that on the indy shops and the tech on the phone sounded confused and admitted to not having done one in over a year)

Needless to say i went indy...

The stealer is trying to reem me. I called several indy shops and they quoted between 5-7 hours. The most expensive being active and that came out to be $852...And thats active, they're the shyt. I think I may go with active.
