Great thread and man Germany is beautiful.

Also love the Melbourne Red - your pics show more detail on it than others. Looks great!

Thanks! I may be bias, but I truly think MR is the best color for the M3... originally I was against it, but in person and with the right pictures... it shows the lines and sportiness like none of the other colors. Very impressive in person

I couldn't believe how beautiful it is there... really made me consider moving someday.

forgot this pic... saw this at the castle... can't imagine the roads with this...

Absolutely awesome man. Glad to hear the experience was everything you hoped for. I hope for 1 day to be able to do this when I step into an e9x m3. Congrats on the new m, she is a beauty! Once you get it in the states, be sure to let me know! I'd love to come check it out.

Im curious how long it will take for you to get the car back. Im actually planning on dropping the car off in Bremerhaven (port where the car leaves Germany from), which will hopefully expedite the process. Let us know how that goes...Im estimating anywhere form 4-5 weeks, but they say these days customs delays are more likely.

Best part about it, NJ is the closest US port, so at least we have a head start in some way.

I'm hoping for 4-5 weeks. I'm having a bitsh of a time finding out how to track the damn thing. Websites on the other bimmer forums aren't very clear. BMW says awaiting transport, but that's always behind. If I can get it 2nd week of August that would be great!
