Default HELP: Trunk Won't Lock

Hi Gents,

I swapped out my CSL trunk to OEM but my trunk won't lock. The can hear the trunk unlocked with my key but it just won't latch together when I slam the trunk closed. Any ideas?

Perhaps you need to adjust the metal piece that the latch grabs to. That's what I had to do with my E36, not sure if E46 is the same

^+1 yup. Just need to play with the adjustment, you'll get it to work. Takes a little time, I dealt with that on my previous e46 when I did the csl trunk. If I remember correctly, I think the latch on the trunk itself can be moved a slightly as well.

yes it's an alignment issue. inside the trunk near the catch is a black cover. remove that to adjust the catch up/down/left/right.
