Cool, yes no extra charges for this option, don't forget to mention this when doing your order!

Cheers,

For race application (dedicated track car) is it more popular to go delrin or stick with aluminum?

Is the weather hot in your area?
Mostly Derlin is selected to avoid feeling the heat transfered to the Aluminum Knob.

Yup, it gets warm where I race. I had an aluminum shift knob on an old Civic which was horrible to drive in the winter due to shifting the cold aluminum.

Does the delrin and aluminum version weigh the same?

Usually racers are wearing gloves so they don't care.

Other than what RTD already stated going with "white" is also cooler than "black" in the summer. I started with black delrin with my current shifter but had to switch to white or my hand would still get too hot in the dead of summer without gloves.

An aluminum shift knob is simply a no go for me in most weather.

Thanks for the feedback. I wear gloves so heat/cold isn't an issue. With that, it boils down to weight of the knob which sounds like is a preference more than anything.
