It did, but I didn't mind - enjoyed the project and helping people out - that's what makes it worthwhile anyway!

During my winter break, I may look into retrofit cruise control into my ZCP with the E39 wiper stalk Plus I got all the parts to do inspection II
Snag a Galletto 1260 cable and let's do some tweaking on your DME.. see sig. (oh, and there's more that can be done that hasn't been mentioned yet, heh)

I know a few people were wanting these after I ran out - I had another small run of sets made up for those who were asking. I apologize for the wait(s)!

I was wondering if I'd get to see the product - looks good!

I was tempted to make these a little less on the ends, but I'm always torn. If I go to slender, I'm worried a bracket might tear out. If I don't, I know there are some people with certain suspensions where it tends to come in contact. It's been few, but it's enough to make me really wonder how to go about solving the problem in a better fashion. The real issue here, as far as I am concerned, is that the caliper is just tight to the rotor no matter which way you slice it or how it's mounted. The 996 GT3 caliper on the E90 M3 rear rotor is a MUCH, MUCH better fit, IMHO.

That one is a 996 Boxster S caliper with an aftermarket rotor. We had some minor fitment issues on his setup.. the first with what I suspect to be the rotor's slight difference in center offset compared to the OEM rotors, which would ordinarily never present an issue to a floating caliper, but to a fixed caliper, can be a problem. Casper had to have the brackets shaved slightly to center the caliper over the rotor - clever fix! Second, his previous coilover setup was causing the brackets to interfere with the upper wishbone mount. He has since changed to a different set of coilovers, which seemed to remedy the condition. This is something that can potentially plague any install, even RR's unfortunately. I've been looking for alternate solutions, but there really aren't any that won't be structurally unstable. Maybe a solution will present itself soon. I've even contemplated providing hardened machined bolts for that upper wishbone mount, but it's not likely to gain more than 3-4mm of clearance.

Ha! These have ALWAYS worked on the GT3 calipers - they were designed with both applications in mind.

You'll need a set of 350mm E90 M3 rear rotors, though, and you'll have to perform a tiny bit of machining to the 996 GT3 rear calipers (remove 4.5mm from the mounting bosses), and the rear rotors (have the small aluminum lip that surrounds the E9x parking brake shoe retainer milled flat - ultra simple on any brake lathe and any parts store can/should do it for you)

You won't need to buy new brackets, just flip yours over!

I would switch over if you finish developing the bracket for the front rotor.
