Did you forget the "infamous sport button"?..lol try that while you're rolling. Then turn it off again..then on again..you feel it now?

I heart my M3...

M is slow if you drive it normally, like shifting around 3000 RPM.

if you shift around 6000 RPM, most cars on the road will smell your exhaust.

if you shift around 7500 RPM......

I don't know about that. Maybe for a DD but not for a sunday car. If I spent like $60K on a Corvette, I would want it to be faster than I could've imagined

First of all, is the M3 fast? Well, compared to what? You need to quantify your statement. Second, you used the words "spoiled" and "M3" and "still in school" in the same paragraph. I agree. You are spoiled. Rotten.

So back to my first comment. Fast compared to what? An Accord, hell yeah. A Ferrari F430? No. An Evo MR? About equal, although the Evo will take the M3 on a twisty road.

I also maintain that you need to know what you're doing to make the M3 go really fast - like keeping as close as you can to a C5 Z06 at a track day. You can't stay close to it unless you're really good. And you can't beat it without mods, and even then you'll need a LOT of mods. But, at the same track day, you'll walk on pretty much anything with under 400hp if you can drive the car intelligently. I mean, we're talking 911 Carrera 4's and the like. "Real" sports cars designed and built to be raced. The M3 can beat those. So yes. It is a very fast car.

no, the M3 isn't really that fast... i consider a car that runs mid-low 13s in the 1/4 mile to be respectably quick, but not really "fast"

a c6 zo6 is fast

Fast is a relative term. what may be "fast" to someone else, may not be fast to you.

Sometimes I go through the same thing....... But, you just get used to the acceleration..... try not driving it for a few days and drive something else. It'll all come back. It's fast!
