Default New e46 M3 vert owner

I've wanted an e46 M3 for a long time, but never really thought it would happen due to cost to purchase as well as cost to maintain.

I drove an e46 328i for almost 10 years. Then I "upgraded" to a dinan 540i but always missed my e46, so now a year later I'm back in an e46.

I got a convertible just because they seemed to be a little cheaper and easier to find. I bought my 2001 vert with 82k miles for $10k. Been in Tucson it's whole life and fairly well maintained. I'm happy so far. I hope to get enough money together to supercharge it, but not super likely due to wife and 4 little kids. But hey, if you have a used s/c kit to sell, hit me up for sure.

Welcome to the forums! I love my E46 M3. I am currently doing a complete suspension refresh as we speak! 100K miles all stock shocks, bushings etc... it needed it.

Enjoy the car!

Me too. Picked up my 03 M3 vert last year. Summer baby and garage queen. Let a year go by to shake it out. Now looking to put some money into it. Any suggestions.

Picked up my e46 m3 vert last year! Loving it!! It's my first BMW and first German car as a matter of fact. Got it cheap so bulletproofing it (mainly Vanos) followed by touching up aesthetics. only 57k miles now. Enjoy being back in one of the best cars available.

I too want an e39, especially with the Dinan stuff. How did it not amaze?
