Default Individual options question...

Does ordering individual options (interior and/or exterior) make it more difficult, or even impossible, to negotiate prices? Just like to know what everyone thinks, or your personal experience if you've gone the individual route...

Wondering the same thing here. The only "drawback" that I've heard about relating to an individual order is the longer wait period before delivery. I'm willing to bet that they would be much more willing to negotiate on a car that's sitting on their lot though.

It is true that individual orders take a little longer for delivery. Usually two weeks or more. I would negotiate the price first and then add the Individual options.

Adding the individual option allowed for better negotiations in my case. I guess because it is a high increase in price AND they make you wait longer. It's worth the wait though.

That was my original order but the Individual guys didn't think it was a good Idea. I had a long consultation with them at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The Ecru looked a little greenish. I decided to go with Platinum interior and then had a change of heart and just decided to get an individual color. And Chemical 7 it's no problem I have a contact at BMW M in Germany. By the way I'd post some pics of my car but it keeps asking me to resize and I'm getting a headache. I've been trying for two days.
