Lightbulb The Official Supercharger Kit Maintenance/Replacement Parts Thread (VF, AA and ESS)

Often times manufacturers will hide part numbers from us consumers, only to end up charging us an hefty markup on the same parts we can source from our favorite online vendors for a substantially lower price. As we all continue to put thousands of miles on our kits, it would be very helpful to include details on common and the often uncommon replacement parts so we're all no longer at the mercy of our favorite supercharger kit's greedy sales departments. Being that I went through the tedious process of replacing a bunch of parts on my own supercharger kit, I'll start out by posting what I have. For whoever else has replaced parts on their own, if you can please post their part numbers, details on preferred vendors, as well as the prices paid for each item, we can essentially create a great resource for our Forced Induction M3F community. I will continue to update the first post as more replies are posted so all information is consolidated in one place.

Lucky that i noticed little drips and spots on the ground to notice a small leak. So Instead of ordering and ordering from Vortech, I went to my local NAPA knows how and they made me a 6000 PSI internal steel line with the same size length and threads as the previous line. Took them literally less than 5 min. Its very flexable, heat resistant and VERY affordable! *I think it was like $30! No waiting nor ordering and shipping. Right near your home!! You dont have to worry about the kinks and the line when it folds! Same as previous line, fold it, tuck it, zip tie it and never worry about it again!!! And if there is no NAPA around, let me know, i will work with you in sending you one.*

Being that VFE kits have the supercharger kits mounted on an angle, a note on oil level measurements: you measure the dipstick at the same angle the supercharger is mounted on.

Bleeding the water cooler system- This only requires a funnel and a container of antifreeze/coolant. I mixed my own in the pictured milk container (50% of 100% antifreeze/coolant and 50% distilled water), however you should use whatever works best for you i.e. water wetter:

Tensioner Bearing: Nachi 6303NSE 17mm/47mm/14mm (Ebay $10 shipped). Simple snap ring to remove it.

Oil Filter: Wix Filters 495-58964 - WIX Filters Magnetic Inline Transmission Filters 5/16 ($14)

Drive Belt - Gates Micro V - K080839HD I bought 3 of these on amazon for $19.35 shipped! under $5 a belt..crazy. They are fleetrunner and are heavy duty. The top of the belt is green which looks kinda cool.

Boost Lag Fix / Recirculation Pipe Delete
- Gibraltar Rubber 1.5" End Caps for stand with round feet ($2 Ebay). Fits perfectly with a hose clamp and made of sturdy rubber. Attach to the back of your AA snail and lose the 1.5" hose connection to your BOV. You should be running Alpha-N so vent to atmosphere is not a problem.

Thanks for the addition BevsM3. You can aso find the same INA part at your local Autozone in stock (Duralast 305342) ~$54. Instead of throwing away the 6 rib pulley, I swapped it onto the AC tensioner - its the exact same pulley and bearing.

These T-bolt clamps (are all stainless steel and of very good quality and cost $2.60 each). I highly suggest you use tbolt clamps instead of the worm-gear clamps supplied.

Clamps for the intake manifold:
12 x T-Bolt Clamp for 2.25" Silicone Parts (CLA000101) = $31.20

Clamps for various intercooler piping:
12 x T-Bolt Clamp for 2.5" Silicone Parts (CLA000102) = $31.20

Clamps for the intercooler ends
2 x T-Bolt Clamp for 3.0" Silicone Parts (CLA000104) = $5.20

If you needed to replace your silicone hose due to any tears or whatever, these are the parts needed. If it's a 2' section, cut it into smaller sections using a razor blade or a utility knife:

Intercooler ends:
2 x Silicone Reducer, 3.0" to 2.5" - Black (SIL000064) = $19.98

Intake manifold:
1 x 2.25" Silicone 2' Straight Hose, Black (SIL000041) = $39.99

Intercooler piping: you will need 2.5" diameter hose.

Oil Cooler / SC Feed Line - $50 at a specialty hose shop. I have already replaced the return line so no pics of that. My hoses were cracking really badly and were soon to spring a leak (rotrex oil is not cheap). Hose is 5/16 with a prime pump and 6 AN braided for a little flash.

Methanol Injection Line Upgrade - *Outlet side of the pump with 4 AN SS lines, check valve and nozzles from DevilsOwn Injection ~$100.

For the self contained V3 units, all you have to do is undo the bolt at the bottom of the oil line and drain it. I'll post pics the next time I do my s/c oil change
