So I was putting the rear end back together to get it back in only to find out the front diff bushing ecs sent was the wrong one!! Had to pull that back out... Now I have to wait for a replacement.

EDIT: ECS Did not send the wrong bushing. i realized the PO had stripped the bolt hole of the diff and half tapped it to a bigger diameter and used a terrible bolt which barely held the diff in. Got my own M16x1.5x65 - 10.9 bolt and threaded the hole properly. Now I feel confident in the bolt and its mounting hole.

Gas tank back in
Calipers painted odds and ends done so I decided to tackle the header and cpv install with my time

Hopefully next week shell be done just in time for graduation. And then she's ready for the haul to TTFS

I can't wait

Headers are in :-) also tackled the rotted rubber around the windows today... Only things left are to do the motor mounts reassemble rear subframe once the correct bushing comes in put that in bleed the brake/clutch system and she will finally be done!!!

Got the new bushing in. Looks like it was the right bushing all along. He PO must have stripped out the differential hole for the bolt retapped it to a M16... It was fun tracking down a M16x1.5x65-10.9 but I found one! Hopefully she will be done tomorrow then next weekend is graduation then the weekend after that I believe I am off to TTFS and Dafoe

Got the tires mounted as well these look pretty damn nice!

It was nice to hear her start up for the first time in months last night. especially with the new exhaust, this thing is loud now! cant wait to take it for a rip, just have to swap the motor mounts, bleed the brake/clutch system some more. Get an alignment and reprogram the headlights for the new xenons, do some interior work then off to MD
