Thanks, guys!

Flip - I sure hope they offer a little more precision and longevity without much NVH. Still a DD that I hope to get some track time in.

DinanS3M3 - Great minds think alike, and so do ours! GLWS even though I secretly hope you have it long enough to move up to the forward-facing car seat. Really wish we could have put together a shoot.

Aaron - your Alcon's convinced me to redo my Brembos in silver when they need new discs and pads. LMK if you are interested in the Strass lip with the front bumper. I have a new Euro bumper coming in soon and can use that box to ship my bumper anywhere.

Gave her a wash today - yay the wheels are finally silver again! I also gave the interior leather a detail with Griot's Garage leather care kit. It's labeled as a cleaner and preservative, but on the back it describes itself as a conditioner. I am no expert so I don't know if our top-coated seats can absorb any conditioner or not. The seats were far from bad to start with so I wasn't expecting much, but the product did a fair job - it certainly cleaned them up, and left a nice finish and smell. It's a thin spray rather than the cream-type stuff that I see with most conditioners FWIW. Overall, satisfied by the product but nothing really to write home about. Curious to see what it does to an interior really in need of TLC. Of course the best leather care is prevention - sun, friction, and overweight passengers.

We went up to Griffith Observatory but we were a bit late as the sun was already setting. A couple of pictures turned out halfway decent.

First decent shot at 13.5F/13.0R, albeit it's dark and those details are hidden -

I like this shot that my GF captured -

Love the direction the car is headed!! K I am headed to look at 0-60 Motor Sports site for price of that steering wheel now.

^ Honestly, it's one of my favorite upgrades on the car. It's amazing - so fat, solid, and comfortable. It looks OEM and has tri-stitching to boot! I understand alcantara is classy and clean, but it doesn't age very well and my car obviously doesn't have any other alcantara to match. I like the Cinnamon boots, so the wheel in plain black leather fits it nicely IMO.
0-60Motorsports is actually a member on this forum! Search the username and send him a PM for a price quote. I am not positive since the PO purchased it, but I recall him saying it was $600. Don't quote me, though.

I actually remember seeing Bug's car around here. Great job with it! I think the RAC Monolites RG4's are my favorite 19" aftermarket wheel for this car. So many nice little touches and you're also keeping up with the maintenance which is great. I too removed my strass (replica) lip from my car that the previous owner put on. Some days I miss the look but most days I don't.

Nice to see you put a journal together, Wyatt!

And thanks for the kind words!

You really got yourself a perfectly sorted out car!!

I like a lot of things about it but perhaps the cinnamon leather wrapped trim is the most unusual! I thought that was very cool!

Thanks for the test drive too. I wonder how it would do against and E9x

Keep an eye for the next track day

I noticed you said that the Mason Clutch Pedal got rid of your squeaking. My Clutch Bushing was actually shot with a tons of squeaks and side-to-side play. I recently installed the AKG Motorsport Delrin Clutch Bushing and the play is gone but it still squeaks like crazy...LOL

Not sure if you noticed either, but since kaiv worked on your, you automatically deducted 11.983 seconds off the lap time on your next track day.

Thanks, Kevin! Kind words from you mean a lot. That dash trim is a love/hate thing, but I like it a lot. Compliments the CF well for a mix of sport and class. And like you said, unique. And thanks for the 11.983 time deduction!

Flip - Actually, the pedal was already installed unknowingly. It was squeaking and had some play in it so I ordered the AKG delrin bushing. When we went to install it, we found it had the GSP pedal (nice surprise). But the nut/bolt holding it did not allow it to rest firmly. Kevin threw on some washers which allowed the nut to tighten it down further. I don't know how much of the squeak/play to attribute to the bushing, or the bolt with too few threads. The OEM bushings actually seemed okay (and I read the Mason pedal comes with new OEM bushings, so these didn't have more than 20K on them MAX). But I am happy to have the AKG pieces in and whichever did the trick, I am happy to have a solid, squeak-free clutch pedal. Sorry I cannot be more definitive.

So my 2012 DVD map disc arrived today, along with the second reverse bulb. I do actually like these bulbs, they aren't that blue in person and they sure are brighter. Again, these are the Cree Eagle Eye 5w LEDs in super white & astigmatic.

The car came with Euro maps in the drive, so I ordered 2012 US West maps. I could tell the car already had V32 based on this splash screen (which I chose to keep, love it). Turns out the seller included 2011 US discs, so I will sell those with the V32 disc that my 2012s came with for cheap to anybody in need of an update. The 2012s loaded up right away, and I was happy to find the perspective modes already changed for bird's eye. Score!

Solid car! Looks very well taken care of mechanically.

Only thing I am not feeling is the cinn shift boot and dash trim, but like you said either you like it or you don't.
