Little update here with some pictures

Took the car out for the weekend with this unusual weather were having here in Chicago. Just in time as it's supposed to be a snowstorm here tomorrow.

Attempted to take some pictures, but my camera sucks. I'll have to take proper photos in the daylight when the time comes.
Ambers all around and they really look good. Gives it a unique look.

This came in the mail about a week ago, wish I could install it. OEM 4.10's. They look perfect. Very excited

Spring couldn't arrive any sooner. List of mods/maintenance that will be done

-Installing the 4.10's
-Refinishing OEM 19's + some aggressive spacers.
-New clear coat on front lip
-Inspection 2
-TMS Subframe Kit
-New RTABS
-Probably switching back to a stock hood, to give it more of a stealth OEM+ look
-Headers of some sort. OEM Euro/CSL headers or SSV2. I'm having a hard time deciding between the two. Not sure if the SSV2 are worth the extra money to me for minimal advantages. If I decide to go with Euro/CSL headers, an Evolve tune will be added to the list. If I go with SSV2, the tune will have to wait. Hopefully I can pickup a used set for a good price.

4.10 + SMG will straight rip on the streets! You have to take me for a ride this Spring!

I say get the SS V2 Stepped, save money, then get a tune. There's no rush to do all these mods at one time. Might as well take it slow and enjoy each mod. Of course, much easier said than done, haha. In the end, it really makes you appreciate each modification.

There goes my gas mileage... I'll for sure take you for a ride in it. Maybe I'll start going to meets actually. Kicking myself for passing up the black Friday special. Hopefully I can find a used set, as there what I really want.

Nice AW! I agree it's a toss up with the GTR hood. It looks sick but some days you just want to fly low key. Too bad a simple snap of the fingers couldn't switch between the two.

It took me over a year to buy my exhaust system, coilovers and tune and then have a shop install everything at same time (mostly due to my work schedule).

2012 for me includes checking to see why my car is not running as smooth since full exhaust install, Evolve stage II tune and maintenance @ VSM, quad lights and probably 18's (not sure what yet) and maybe subframe reinforcement. 2013 will be 4.10 diff. and maybe some new coilovers.

Definitely take your time or your wallet is going to hate you.

Nice journal!

Thanks. Hopefully I get the SSV2 headers that are for sale on here. One step closer. Do it right the first time.

Car looks awesome bro. I'm a huge fan of AW, but they're soooo hard to find, especially in 6spd.

Definitely looking forward to what you have in store for the future.

Im digging the ambers. I agree that you should go back to stock hood. Amber markers are too modest for the aggressive gtr hood.
