Default Salvage M

Looking at an 08 m3 with 11k miles on it that has a salvage title. Says it was in a small crash front bumper replaced and no airbags deployed. First question is why is it salvaged then? Thats not a question for you guys i just emailed them haha. What I'm wondering is what do all you e92 owners think of this deal? They want 29k for it.

If it's a flood car, I would stay away. If it's not not, get it inspected. If everything checks out, negotiate a fair price. Also, you would be better off if you were buying this as a keeper as salvage cars are more difficult to sell. Check with your insurance too, there might be some restrictions on what and how much you can insure it for.

I asked the guy why it was totaled and he said maybe because BMW parts are expensive. He sent me the parts replaced and they totaled to 9k. He didn't even tell me the rear was hit at first. Obviously this car had frame damage.

Looks like a strictly a donor or parts car to me. Looks like it still drives... I bet that thing would crab down the road at a 45 degree angle while you are trying to keep it straight! Definitely pass on this.

This is why I don't like Salvaged titled cars

Sure it can look all pretty with bodywork and paint, but you will never know what's inside..
